03/01/10 UAM Yearbook Wins Superior Performance Award From Walsworth Publishing |

The 2009 Boll Weevil yearbook staff at the University of Arkansas at Monticello recently received a Superior Performance Award from Walsworth Publishing Company. Walsworth recognized the staff for meeting all of the deadlines for the 2008-2009 publication. According to editor-in-chief, Douglas Boultinghouse, a graduate of Rison High School, the award was a surprise. Boultinghouse, a junior journalism major, said he was grateful for the award and thanked the staff for their hard work. The staff will compete for design awards at the Arkansas College Media Association conference to be held April 9 in Fayetteville. |
